Lubbock, Texas Now Hiring: Mechanic
Citibus is currently looking to fill a Mechanic positions. High School diploma or equivalent and EPA Section 608 & 609 certifications are required. Five to seven years of progressive experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy duty truck transit equipment, ASE certification(s) and basic computer skills are preferred. Duties include maintaining, diagnosing, overhauling, adjusting and repairing all Citibus transit vehicles and light and heavy mechanical equipment, performs preventative maintenance inspections and coaches and monitors the work of other mechanics. Must have or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement and must have your own tools. Citibus has an attractive benefits package with medical, dental and vision insurance, short-term disability and 401(k). Hourly rate depends of experience. Successful applicants must pass DOT Physical/Drug screen.
